I will dominate 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Former two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Mentality

"I will break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my goal."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the novice remains one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters met for the usual face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually happening.
